Mike Steube over Sam Brown. Barry Obler gnaws to third.
Mike once again edged "Consistent Sam" Brown for first with his well prepared Courage C60. Barry Obler survived over crashing Philippe de Lespinay who once again set fastest lap. Scott Corwin rounded the top five, with wing-car racer Gil Gundersen still fighting the setup on his controller finger. Former MESAC member Roger Uusitalo barely beat Oscar Smith in progress for 7th, while drag racer Paul Wilde drove a bit over his head. Beginner John Javier spent much of the race on the sidelines, learning is a tough process..
