De Lespinay wins one.
The sixth 2006 TSRF Championship Race for 1/32 scale GT1-GTP cars was easily won by Philippe de Lespinay with his well prepared Porsche GT1-98. Luck of the draw also pulled a good motor, allowing the nailed chassis to shine with an 8-lap advantage and a blistering fastest lap. The other member of the re-created Checkpoint team, Mike Steube was second after some minor handling problems. Roger Uusitalo placed a fine third.
Attendance was down as many of the usual participants had other racing obligations and opted out of this one.
Concours was won by Paul Sterrett over Philippe and Mike Steube.
